Be Part of the Student Election Board
Body
Purpose
The purpose of the Student Election Board is to facilitate and coordinate elections for the following entities:
- Illinois Student Council
- UC Senate
- Student Organization Resource Fee (SORF) Board
- Student Trustee
- Referenda
Members
- Illinois Student Council: 2 Current Members (cannot be running for office)
- U-C Senate: 2 Current Student Senators (cannot be running for office)
- Student Org Resource Fee Board: 1 Current Member (cannot be running for office)
- Student Trustee: 1 member (current Trustee, if not running for re-election)
- At-Large Members: 2 Students (cannot be a member of the above representative entities and cannot be running for office)
Advisor
- Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs or their designee(s)
- The Advisor shall serve as the chairperson of the board.
Time Commitment
The SEB shall hold regular meetings on academic days between the publication of candidates and the Monday following the week in which the elections occur, to review complaints and appeals as necessary. The SEB may cancel the regular meeting if there are no items for discussion or review.
Deadline
Applications for at-large membership are considered on a rolling basis until the membership is filled.
