Welcome to the process of being a candidate for student governance here at Illinois. To get started, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Complete the application for candidacy.

Ensure a smooth candidacy process by thoroughly reviewing the eligibility requirements, collecting necessary documents, and submitting your application before the deadline.

Step 2: Familiarize yourself with the election timeline.

Stay organized and avoid missing crucial deadlines by thoroughly understanding and marking key dates on the election timeline.

Step 3: Begin campaigning.

Create a campaign message and strategy to effectively connect with your fellow students and earn their support for the upcoming election.

Step 4: Vote in the student elections and encourage others to vote!

Exercise your right to vote while actively promoting the significance of student participation to your peers and encouraging them to go out and vote.
