Hello! My name is Vincent Feldman, and I am running for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences University Senate. I am from Chicago, IL, and am in my second semester here at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I take extraordinary pride in community service, especially expanding mental health resources. I co-founded the Saint Dymphna Society, a neighborhood mental health organization on Chicago’s North Westside. As a University Senator, I will promote a diverse community of learning within the College of LAS and prioritize a culture of shared growth and development. I am an academic zealot, and I believe that no book, no class, and no student is illegal. I will prioritize transparency and input from other students when making decisions, and I am grateful to have your support.
