Hello, I am Troy Kowalski, and I am excited to announce my candidacy for the position of SORF Undergraduate Board Member. Currently serving as a SORF Board member throughout the 2023-2024 school year, I have had the privilege of working closely with Treasurers from various RSOs across campus, aiding them in securing SORF funding. As a Global Studies major with a focus on International Trade Policy and Global Compliance, I am deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and socially conscious campus environment. As I approach my junior year, I am eager to contribute to the growth and development of our university community. Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, I had the privilege of working closely with Treasurers from various RSOs across campus, aiding them in securing SORF funding. I am enthusiastic about continuing this collaborative effort into the next academic year, advocating for increased accessibility to SORF applications across the board. I strongly believe in the importance of SORF benefiting all organizations on campus, with a particular emphasis on supporting underprivileged organizations that positively represent the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In my role as an Undergraduate SORF Board Member, I will strive to enhance board members' knowledge of the entire SORF process, ensuring smooth communication between board members and RSO Treasurers. In conclusion, I am thrilled about the prospect of serving as an Undergraduate SORF Board Member to better support the entire University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign community. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet RSO Treasurers and assist them in navigating their SORF affairs.
