Hello! My name is Juliana Paruolo, and I’m a current Freshman Psychology and Political Science double major from Edmond, Oklahoma. I believe the impact the University Senate has on student affairs is often overlooked; for those who may not know, the Senate discusses items such as academic calendars, degree requirements, majors, minors, concentrations, etc. These areas play a large role in our academic experience, and we as students should take advantage of every opportunity to represent ourselves in this area. With my election into this position, I will always hold the student experience in mind and listen to conversations being had across campus to determine my actions. I look forward to speaking for the student body and reflecting the attitudes of my community to foster a positive, inclusive, and meaningful experience for all individuals. I-L-L!
