I chose to major in systems engineering because I find the examination and improvement of systems to be both particularly intriguing and fulfilling. In a similar vein, I saw this opportunity to run for student senate as a chance to both see how the gears of this political machine run, but hopefully improve it for the benefit of all students. My main platform is that the University must support lasting developments in infrastructure for the benefit of future students, rather than contemporary vanity projects. That is all.
