My name is Elie Gaffen and I am running for a senate seat with LAS and a representative seat on Illinois Student Council. I am very excited to be running again for senator as I was one during my sophomore year. Now as an incoming senior, I have been involved around campus enough to know how to positively affect the student body and improve our campus. I am currently the president of Sigma Alpha Mu and also have a seat on the Urbana-Champaign Senate as well. On the U-C Senate, I collaborated with faculty to better the community and meet with school administrators every month to ensure that the school year runs smoothly. My platform is to get the campus more involved in improving the campus to the way they want it to be. If students want something to be done, I will be the voice and the representative for the student body. Vote for me based on my experience as a senator as well as my dedication to the University of Illinois campus and community.
